Summary Statement of Deficiencies D1002 REPORTING OF SARS-CoV-2 TEST RESULTS During the Public Health Emergency, as defined in 400.200 of this chapter, each laboratory that performs a test that is intended to detect SARS-CoV-2 or to diagnose a possible case of COVID-19 (hereinafter referred to as a "SARS-CoV-2 test") must report SARS-CoV-2 test results to the Secretary in such form and manner, and at such timing and frequency, as the Secretary may prescribe. This CONDITION is not met as evidenced by: . Based on record review and interview with the Laboratory Director (LD), the laboratory failed to report SARS-Co-V-2 test results as required for 7 (11/16/2020 to 5 /20/2021) of 7 months of testing. Findings include: 1. A record review of the "Anthology Senior Living Covid-19 Policy & Procedure" revealed in "Reporting Test Results to State Governing Entities: Depending on the state specific regulations, communities are required to report either their data for all testing's completed for each individual test or for all test that result in a positive result. Communities will comply with their specific state regulations requiring reporting." 2. When queried during the phone interview on 5/20/2021 at 2:17 pm, the surveyor was informed that for 7 (11/16 /2020 to 5/20/2021) of 7 months of testing only positive testing results are reported to the Oakland County Health Department. 3. An interview on 5/20/2021 at 2:17 pm, the LD confirmed the laboratory was not reporting negative and positive patient SARS- CoV-2 testing to the local health department.
