Summary Statement of Deficiencies D0000 At the time of the announced, onsite recertification survey, Cisca Pulmonary Critical Care was found to not be in compliance with the CLIA laboratory requirements of 42 CFR 493. D2087 ROUTINE CHEMISTRY CFR(s): 493.841(a) Failure to attain a score of at least 80 percent of acceptable responses for each analyte in each testing event is unsatisfactory analyte performance for the testing event. This STANDARD is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review and staff interview, the facility failed to have a passing proficiency test score for the second testing event of 2019 for the analyte PO2 (partial pressure of oxygen) in the specialty of Chemistry. The findings include: The record review on 8/20/19 of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) proficiency testing events for 2019 showed a score of 60% for the analyte PO2 for the second event of 2019. The 8/20/19 interview with the testing person at 12:00pm confirmed the failure in proficiency testing.
